{pumpkins}

I realize this post is a bit late, but better late than never, no?
Vanessa and I set out on Friday to find our Halloween carving pumpkins. Little did we know that people plan way way ahead and most all pumpkins are all bought prior to the day of Halloween. Luckily, Smiths had a cart full of nearly rotten pumpkins out in front of the store that morning. We found two that weren't rotten yet and since we were carving that same night, it didn't really matter anyway.
We found this cool website with patterns (no, we aren't that artistic, but you can keep thinking that if you'd like :) and picked ours out pretty quick. I thought the owl would look pretty on that partially green pumpkin, and Vanessa used her sticker from voting to add to hers. It was fun, and I think they may have attracted the one trick-or-treater we had the entire night. And, of course, the seeds were the best part! That's all!
